[Otázka] Variable length reinforcement in wall

Hello All,

I have a problem that I need to solve for a project. There is a R.C. wall that I have to draw the reinforcement plans for but I am stuck. The height of the wall is not uniform, it ranges from around `2m to 7m. My question is, how do I place reinforcement in the wall that start at a given height but all end where the top of the wall ends in their respective place. I attached a picture to better illustrate the problem. In the picture I have already added reinforcement in the first row. Now I need to add the reinforcement marked with the red lines but I have no idea how to do this.
Any help is greatly appriciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Jacksonaron,

It's a really interesting question!

It's not very complex to do but there is a lot way. It just depend what do you prefer, what kind of modification you can have...

- Do it fully manually, bars after bars, not funny and very long time.

- Use an area reinforcement for bars (A), interesting for straight bars...

- Use a place in polygone (B), interesting for 3D form of bars....

- Use a place in custom polygone (C), it's up to you...

Method A:

Just keep the tool 'Enter Area reinforcement' and than choose the icon 'span reinforcement. After have create the area, you have to set the placement and it will be done!

Method B

Draft a straight bar on the cut and than use the placement named 'place in polygon'. Define the area of the bars and it will be done!

Method C

First define the area of the bars per direction/stretching. In you case, it will be 2 area on the length divided by the top point. Than for each area, create 2 bars, the first bars and the last bars. When they are done and place. Use the tool 'place in custom polygon' and select the first and the last bars, than you have to said how many bars you need. So it will be done!

I give a example of your case with all these type.

Good use & Enjoy!
