Hi everybody,

How to convert Smartpart to "custom reference planes"? The idea is use the smartpart "Free form Solid", edit it to convert as an organic form, and then convert it to "custom reference planes".

Any idea?

Hello,

you have to do 3 Steps:

1. Explode the SmartPart with "Makro auflösen"
2. Unify all faces with "Körper vereinigen" -> result should be "3D-Body"
3. Convert the body to custom planes

The 3. step works only, if the body has no concave parts in Z-direction!
