[Question] Wall Component Joins at Corners [Solved]

Hi all,

Is there a way to have walls join at corners with a miter rather than a butt join? The butt joins of the components are hidden in a hidden line view but show in the animation view if edges are turned on. The primary reason I ask is we often export to Sketchup for our clients and the butt joins always show in the walls. A miter connection would fix this. The direct Sketchup export really doesn't result in usable geometry and I've have better luck with the Collada format. Still, the extra lines show.

I noticed a custom profile wall has a miter join but not a multi-layered wall type.

Any suggestions or tips are appreciated.

Hello,

By working with any version, there is a setting to display the join line in the plan and also to set the connection between element.

To do that, you must open the "option" menu and than go to "components & architecture". You will find the line display and a setting about angle connection.

When i set it to 91°, all element under 91 will be connect with miter.

Please find an example as picture.

Bye & Good Use!
