[Question] Bitmap as graphic cell in legend

Hello everybody,

I would be interested if it's possible to use a bitmap (saved on my PC) as graphic cell in a user defined legend, and if so, which extensions are supported
Furthermore, I would be thankful if someone would be so kind to explain each setting from the attached screenshot.

Thank you in advance.
L.Cs.

Hi,

Before defining the legend, you need to add the bitmap to the title of the legend using the bitmap command. When defining the legend, you need to select it as a title. With the command you are trying to use, you create the visual of the objects you have calculated in the legend.

I would like to use the bitmap in the row area, not in the header.
I'm thinking about using several bitmaps, depending on what type of element is listed in the row.
For example:
- 1.png for a Nut,
- 2.png for a Washer,
- 3.png for a Precast column, and so on.

You can add the image to the library and call it as a symbol on the legend line. But I don't think it will work as you want. Is it possible to post the result as an image?

I was thinking about something like Capture_02. Capture_01 is the actual legend which I'm using now, but I would like to improve it.

If there was a report you could do it in a very simple way. But I don't know if this can be done in legend

Hi!, in Allplan reports you can put graphic cells calculated directly from the model, or you can put external image too. This can be done by setting the image source to "External" and then in graphical cell programming, with conditional for instance, to appear the desired image. Editing the report with Microsoft visual web developer help to understand and order better the content.
