Allplan Forum: Incorrect wall (wand) joins with different layers (schichten)

Hi!

We have a little problem with walls (wands) with different layers (schichten), when those walls are situated in a corner (see the attached image)

The only way to solve it is using the tool "Join Linear Component with Line" (Linienbauteil an Linie). But if we need to use the tool "Update 3D" -> "Recreate" (3D Aktualisieren -> Rekonst, we have to use again the tool "Join Linear Component with Line" (Linienbauteil an Linie) on every wall.

Any solution?

Use Correct Priority in the walls combined with the options shown below:

Well, the walls of my first post have the correct priority (see the file "WALL.ndw" of my first post). I explained your solution in my first post: :-)

in wich case are you using 3Dakt with rekonst?

I'm not using this very often.... once every half year..

Namenlos gezeichnet in vollem Bewusstsein - ignorant, in eigen Augen vermutlich höflich, dennoch unhöflichst, unfreundlichst wer einen/viele vermutete - sich von alters erschließende Namen nennt.

Hi Markus,

Well, the problem isn't "use or not use" the tool "3D Aktualisieren -> Rekonst"

The problem of the priority exist, and when we work in big projects, we think that to use the tool "Linienbauteil an Linie" to solve correctly all the "unions between walls" is improductive, and a waste of time.

We attach another image, to show more incorrect unions between walls.

There are a lot of situations that we are wasting of time to solve incorrect unions between walls, because of the problem of wall priorities.

For example, another tipical situation: cover columns with a wall (see attached images)
