For my floorplan I'm using the following colors:
-floor: light grey
-Beams: medium grey
-Walls, Columns: dark grey
I need to se how far beams lay on top of the walls, to get this effect I set the texture of my objects to a certain transparency.
Next I make a section/view and turn on transparency in the section /view.
Now my problem. When a beam lies on a wall, and part of the wall is cut out for that beam, the color of the whole wall in the section turns much lighter. this seems to be caused when two objects touch eachother on a vertical surface
Why does this happen?
How can I fix this?
In the first picture you see the problem with the (double) wall
In the next picture I've moved the beam and the color turns back to the right color.
