[Вопрос] Awfull reinforcement diameter symbol

I have had this problem with earlier versions also. The diameter symbol of the reinforcement description is not working as it should. Not while selecting a Allplan font nor selecting a True type font.
1. Allplan font
An ugly symbol is displayed, it is the same symbol no matter what kind of Allplan font you use. Really annoying. It should insert/display the symbol that is inside the font file. I do not know why this does not work like that. Could you please correct this problem?
2. True type font
This is an issue I had before. When using a True type font, no diameter symbol is displayed, even if I add an ASCII code for a hashtag or phi symbol (248). The symbol is shown in the settings dialogue, but not in the actual text. It is just a blank space. Also, when I disable Diameter in the properties box (edit the reinforcement text) the text is messed up. It seems related to the latest patch 2019-1-4. In version 2018 it works, but nut flawless. Does anybody know what is causing this behavior?

Hi Mischa

Maybe this will help on Allplan font side:
I noticed that Diameter symbol in Allplan fonts is moving through ACSII numbers in some projects. My guess is because of different local languages.
In my local language diameter symbol in TTF fonts is at number 248, while in Allplan fonts diameter symbol is at number 187.

If I open 2015 engineering template created with ENG/DE? language Allplan, that has Fonts set to Project, Diameter in Allplan fonts is at ASCII numbers 216 and 248.

But although I have set Options / Reinforcement / Label / Bar reinforcement / Diameter symbol, ASCII number to 248, diameter label won't show up.

If I change to Office or delete all *.afn files in project and replace them with Office *.afn files, everything works as expected (248 for TTF, and 187 for AF)

Best regards,
