I can't select additional elements while holding the CTRL key

Hello. I have a problem while drawing in 2d. When I select an element, selecting additional elements while holding the CTRL key button doesn't seems to work. To describe it better, when I hold CTRL key and select the element with the green selection, the green square doesn't dissapear and the element will not be selected. What should I do? Anticipated thanks!

Hi,

try the following:

1. Exit Allplan
2. Allmenu --> Service --> Hotline tools --> Cleanup
3. Start Allplan --> check the behaviour.

Hey Jurij, thank you for your answer! I tried your advice and it didn't work ( Any more suggestions?

I want to describe my problem again - see the attached file:

First I select the square. Then I want to multiselect all the circles, while holding CTRL.
The multiple selection doesn't work!!! Only if I select one circle at a time.

Hi,

interesting.

you can try reseting the defaults.

1. Allmenu --> Service --> Hotline tools --> Savestd (saving settings)
2. Allmenu --> Service --> Hotline tools --> Cleanstd (reset settings)
3. Try the behaviour
4. If the selection is still not working: Allmenu --> Service --> Hotline tools --> Reststd (restore settings)
5. If you can select more elements at the same time, one of the settings was corrupt.
6. Hard to tell which one.... maybe you can check in online help of Allmenu --> Help --> Service --> Hotline tools --> Cleanstd which file to reset in order to achieve the selection to work properly
7. To reset only one (or more) files, do the following:
8. Allmenu --> Service --> Hotline tools --> Cleanstd --> OK --> OK --> No --> select the file (files) --> OK.
9. If you can't find the file you need to reset all of them and then change the settings within options of Allplan.

p.s.
you can also try the same with "savereg", "cleanreg" and "restreg". These are the settings saved in the registry of Windows.
