What settings should be used to that when using "Hidden line image"command the intersected edges (by the section plane) to be in the same layer as the element that they came from, not the "default layer", or any other layer I may choose from in the "Arch..." options?

You can try to use a free associative view or section to generate your hidden line representation.
This way the elements are on their original layers so any change you do to the layer affects the representation.
