Hello,
i exported a 3ds file for renderings but i was late to realize that the curves in Allplan had too many polygons so the file now is very heavy!
Is there any way to reduce the polygons before or after i export the 3ds file from Allplan?

did you ever try the export from Allplan to Cinema 4D. If you are flexible with the selection of the render esoftware you like to use try this. If you create elements using the functions of the 3D Modeling Module of Allplan you can select the resolution of the elements for instance for a Sphere, a Cylinder, ... and so on. If you convert 2D to 3D Lines to use them for Planar Polygonal Surfaces or Polyline Sweep Solid it´s also important to select a useful number ob segments to control the data size of the created elements.
