Hi,

I'm looking at the new ScriptObject PythonPart and for my first example I want to select a Polyline2D to create a volume.

I have a error when I want to get the polyline geometry

Can you help me to have the correct syntaxt ?

polyline = self.selection_result.sel_element.GetGeometry()
polygon = Geometry.Polygon2D()
for point in polyline.Points:
    polygon += point
polygon += polygon[0]

Hi Christophe,

you are selecting a Polyline2D by [ElementAdapter.Polyline2D_TypeUUID].

You need to convert the Polyline2D from GetGeometry to a Polygon2D which is needed in PolygonalArea2D.
