[Frage] "Freier" Handle bei Visual Scripting

Schlagworte:
  • Handle
  • 2022

Hallo

Gruss
Hansruedi

Maybe it's a good idea, that each Point3D can not only input via click but also be moved with a handle. Measuring distance between two of this points you get a length and if neccessary a direction (Vector3D).
Last but not least: Creating a Line3D with 2 Point3D's is something like "Hello World" in Visual-Scripting. I can't think of any reason why the points shouldn't be movable with handles. The Point3D-Node with Handle should be the very first implemented in VS :-)

Thanks for the suggestion. I do agree on that we should have an handle for point3d to move the point, just like other basic geometry object in VS. Once we come to the point to redesign such nodes, we will improve them.

But we were considering having different nodes for different types of handles.

Currently, it isn't possible to do that in Visual Scripting. We were aware of that and will improve that together with the new library.
