We want to use BIMplus as a central hub for the information exchange of the 3D model. This means that we upload the model from Allplan to BIMplus to export the IFC from it (see appendix). This IFC file can then be opened without problems in Revit with the associated encodings; exactly what we are looking for.
Now a problem arises with the IFC export from BIMplus: In the 3D model we used the Lintel tool in Allplan, which can also be found in BIMplus. When exporting to IFC, BIMplus removes all lintels from the model. The recesses of the lintels are included, but the lintels themselves are no longer to be found. We encountered the problem not only when opening in Revit, but also opening the IFC export in BimCollab as a new model. Within the IFC file we can't bring out the lintels either.
We have tried with all IFC variants that are possible for the import/export, so far we have not found any solutions. It seems that something is going wrong with exporting lintels to IFC in BIMplus; is this a known problem and is there a solution?
