In Allplan Precast, many customers use BIM BOOSTER technology, in which the layout plan (consisting of “empty” elements that contain only the formwork; in GUI named “Model”) is associatively linked to the detailed precast elements (containing reinforcement, EBT, element plans, etc.; in GUI named “Detail”).

We would like to reinforce the precast walls in the Detail area using PythonParts. However, when these PythonParts are based on the automatic reinforcement technology, they do not work with the “full” precast wall Detail elements.

This workflow works for Structural (Universal) Precast Elements (KoFe), but not for Precast Walls.

How can we apply PythonParts with automatic reinforcement to the Detail elements of precast walls?

Is there a specific procedure to follow, or is there a technical limitation in Allplan Precast?
