Hi,

How can we get the footprint area of a polyhedron ?

(CalcMass seems to add all the surfaces of my object)

Hi Christoph,

in Allplan >2025 you have the possibility to get the footprint with PolyhedronUtil. You get the 2D polygon, which you can use to calculate the area. The footprint is always calculated by "looking down" on the polyhedron. If you need to look from a different side, you need to rotate the polyhedron first.
