wer die Support -> FAQs aufgerufen hat, bekommt ohne einen Suchbegriff die FAQs angezeigt, die aktuelle vom Technischen Support empfohlen sind.

Mit mindestens einem Suchbegriff oder einem Filter, sollten eigentlich alle FAQs durchsucht werden. Leider musste aber die Erkennung "Leere Suche" mit dem Update der Extension geändert werden. Stand aber nicht in deren Releasenotes :-(. darum wurde eine Suche dann immer nur in den ca. 140 empfohlenen FAQs durchgeführt und nicht in allen rund 1800 ..

das ist behoben.

Hallo Jörg,

noch eine Frage zur Suche im Forum generell:

Warum wird standardmäßig nur in max. 2 Jahre zurückliegenden Beiträgen gesucht?
Man sieht das leider erst nachdem man einmal auf "Suchen" gedrückt hat.

Und dann muss man schon genau hinschauen, dass man diese Einschränkung als solche erkennt.

Ich hatte nach den verdoppelten Flächen in den Räumen gesucht (s. forums_suche_datum.png), und bin bald vom Glauben abgefallen,
dass die Suche den Beitrag, von dem ich wusste, dass er existiert, nicht gefunden hat. Erst nach einer halben Stunde mühsehliger Arbeit mit diversen Suchbegriffen, ist mir das Datums-Feld aufgefallen. An dem steht nicht mal "Im Zeitraum Von:" davor!

Wäre es nicht besser, immer alle Beiträge zu durchsuchen, und diese dann chronologisch (neuere Beiträge zuerst) anzuzeigen.
Es wird sehr oft nach Problemen/Beiträgen gesucht, die länger als 2 Jahre zurückliegen.

Hello,
I agree with everyone!
The problem seems to me to be more about the presentation than the functions.
The filter icon feels more like reducing your search than expanding it to a larger range. Also, the tooltip, at least in French, must have been defined by an AI software (it's a joke) because it only shows the word "saisir" ("enter")...

Bertrand: you cant agree with everyone .. :-)
here are two different opinions.. !!

Mouse Over that icons shows in All Language "Filter Options" see image

PS: Enhance the "From Date" for Powerusers from 3 to 6 Years enough ? or Really 10 Years ?
But: The REAL OLD Stuff has definitly to many BROKEN invalid Links inside .. Even 6 Years will contain many broken and invalid links, Content and many today WRONG Ansers ..

Yes, but I can understand the point of view from everyone.

Ok, I looked at the tooltip with a translation in French of this German page.
But, in the French forum the tooltip displays "Filter options". It's in English, not in French!

And the most important in my previous message was:
"The filter icon feels more like reducing your search than expanding it to a larger range."

i know that the french translation has a of "lacks", so english is shown as default.
Translation is done by our countries.

considering that most subscribed users will work on Allplan versions that are quite new (last three or four versions), I think that standard search should include posts up to five or six years.
Actually I miss he possibility to download each post as a PDF file. Are you going to re-implement that feature?

no, as most modern browsers allows to "Save to PDF" when you open Print view

I checked the Layout, it is not "so" bad.

The Allplan Logo has gone and top Space is a little bit high, and the Space for user Icon could be removed to save sometimes one or two pages ..

as also the "Download single FAQ" does not exist anymore since switch of technologie has the same issue, but there some mor optimisations are needed, this changes will be done in next days also.

Hello,
Yes, it can be limited to the last 3 or 6 years.
When you know how to change the selestion, it is not an issue anymore.
