[Вопрос] can't UNDO often

Why after alot of stuff you do, you cant undo. I recently miss-clicked a file in manage reference drawing files, and it erased my entire associative views of armature. I just don't get why you cant make it undo everything. Its like all other programs have that and you can undo alooooot.
disappointing.

The Undo function greys out under these 2 conditions:

1. if you activate the function Open on the project specific basis and change the status of the drawing file (for instance from current to open in edit mode, open in reference mode or hidden). If you do the same thing using the context menu (right mouse klick on the element and activate the function Change drawing file status, you can still undo.
2. if you use the function Save and compress.

If you activate the function Open on the project specific basis and change the status of the drawing file and change the status by accident, just make sure that prior ending the function you put the status as it was when activating the function.

If your system is creating shadow copies of your files, you can retreive the previous statuses of the drawing files (in Explorer open the folder with your project files, find the file that you would like to retreive --> right mouse klick --> properties --> previous versions --> select one of the previous file versions and restore it. I suggest that you make a copy of the file before restoring it.

OK, but why it ever has to grey out? i am using that "Open on the project specific basis" like every minute... that makes undo nearly useless...

Because when changing the Filestatus Allplan saves the files from RAM to Harddrive.

I don't feel dthe need to open the file or building structure every minute.

But even though it saves a copy to HDD, it should be able to remain all info in ram? i mean i can save in all other programs, and still use undo? and as i watch ram usage, its always around 400-600 MB, while i have 12-16 GB of unused ram.
