Allplan Forum: PROBLEM: SmartPart inserted like a Macro in windows/doors

Hi everybody,

From 2 weeks ago, i'm trying to create my own Smartparts. Now I'm creating smartparts to insert on windows and doors, and I downloaded the file "FENSTER _ TÜREN.ndw", that contents a fantastic smartpart for windows created by NEMO, it's awesome!

The Nemo's smartpart works perfectly. When this smarpart is inserted in several windows with diferents dimensions (1x1m, 1.5x1.5m, 2x2m) the smartpart is adapted perfectly in every window. And if you modify any parameter of one of the smartparts, this paramater affect in all the smartparts inserted, and every smartpart continues adapted with the form of the windows (see image 01)

My smartpart is doing something strange, and I can't found what's the problem. I explain my problem: I insert my smarpart in several windows with diferents dimensions (1x1m, 1,5x1,5m, 2x2m) and the smartparts adapted perfectly in every window (see image 02) But when I modify any parameter of the smartpart inserted in the window of 1x1m (image 04), this parameter affect to all the smartparts inserted, AND the dimension of the all smartpats changed to 1x1m!! (the hole of the windows continues with the original dimensions: 1x1m, 1,5x,1,5m, 2x2m)

Seriusly... It's madness
Anybody can explain me what's the problem?

Thanks to Deep_dive and Nemo for yours answers.

I think there are any bug in the Allplan version 2012.1-2, when it creates new smartpart from this version. The smartpart created before this version works perfect, like the smartparts from Nemo or Deep_dive.

Try to create a new smartpart from any Allplan 2012.1-2 installation. For example: download and open the file "smartPart_window.ndw" from Nemo's last post. Then, open the SmartPart editor, and copy the content of "3D Script" (on any text editor). Then press the reset button (zurücksetzen) of the smartpart editor. Then, first go to "Parameters" and change the value y=0.07, then go to "3D Script" and paste the original script. After all, press OK, and press YES to modify all the same Smartparts. The bug that I found on my smartpart will be showed!

Hello,

you haven't read the thread carefully!

There is written, that the following property-setting is needed!
SmartPart -> Eigenschaften -> Einstellungen -> "Aktualisierung der Referenzbox bei Skalierung" -> Aus (see ref_box.png)

By reseting the SmartPart this property is also reset to "Ein"!

...and of course you must not change the parameters of reference-box length and height (ref_x, ref_y), because they are predetermined by the opening!
