[Frage] Section views in vertical section

Schlagworte:
  • Section view associated view clipping path circle

Hi,

For my construction design I made some associated details. Allplan automatically creates an clipping line in the 2D top view.

But is there a way I can see the detail (associated views) locations in a associated vertical section.
Normally you draw a circle on the location of that detail in the vertical section and name it. But is there a way to automate this?

Hi jorisicesxm,

By using the associative cut, the clipping path are display on the view or plan view you use to define the line and direction.

If you use another view, than you will see the clipping path Inside this view and not the plan view. (case 1)

Than you can display the clipping path in other view.

First check the volume of the cut is display (yellow line, or property of the cut).

And use the tool 'Show clipping path' select the cut by using the volume and than select the view where you miss the path.

You will see all line.

Hello everyone,

I think I could use this topic to write my question. When I was creating my plans for print (diffrent plan on different papers), I saw that I can see different clipping paths or lines (which are defining section) on floor plan only if I also put these sections with this plan on the same paper. So I am wondering now, how can I have a plan view on one paper with all defined clipping paths of section views (A, B, C, D, ...) and on every other paper other section view (A, B, C, D, ...). I must also tell that I put on paper just plan view from model (which is not associatve section), if that could be a problem.

I would really apprecaite your answer as soon as possible! Thank you very much in advance!

Hello,

I think you can place the view and all section in one time and than convert the view as model Windows.

So you will be able to display only the planview without the sections, but you will see the clipping path on the planview.
