One of the examples provided by Allplan Visual Scripting is ‘CreateLongitudinalBars.pyp’ from ‘Reinforcement’ folder.

If you run it, it creates a box with a ‘U-shape’ reinforcement-type as main bars. Inside the main bars, there are longitudinal bars distributed vertically – also ‘U-shaped’.

As a default, the script is distributing all longitudinal bars along the ‘vertical’ segment of the main bars ( see attached picture ). What if I want to place the longitudinal bars along the ‘horizontal’ part of the main bars – either top or bottom ?

I tried changing 'Bar Segment Number' from 2 to 1 or 3, but nothing is happening. I assume whatever shape the main bar has, the 'bar segment number' between the 'hooks' will always be 2 ?
