In my opinion the library system of allplan based on 2d elements and macro is quite primitive. Editing a macro door or window in allplan is quite painstaking as you have to undo all your previous settings.( Plus, when I set the curtain wall to be seen as an macro, allplan starts to work very slowly). Even vectorworks is better at this task as it has editable objects for doors, and let's not compare with archicad or autodesk, programs which are much more superiour at creating 3d doors and windows and editable objects. So why has this system of creating doors, windows and other objects has remained in the same stage form the earliest version of allplan ?
I think it would be better if allplan had started developing a library based on intelligent script.
