You don’t have a user name or password yet?

The first thing to do is to log on to the registration page registration page

The important thing is to write in the E-mail address correctly, because we shall be sending an E-mail with a confirmation link to exactly that address. You must click on the confirmation link within 24 hours, since after that it will no longer be valid.

The user name and E-mail address chosen must be unique; in other words, no other user has registered with this E-mail address.

Common user names like "Joe", "Jones" or "JSmith" can also lead to a new registration being rejected because the user name is already being used. .

You can enter your customer number as soon as you register.

Note: If you do not receive the E-mail with the confirmation link (due to a typing error in the E-mail address, for example, or if our E-mail gets stuck in the Spam filter), and you do not click on the link, then it will be impossible to log in. It will then only be possible to re-register, for example with a correct E-mail address, after 24 hours, because the user name will be flagged up as “reserved” for that period of time.

What does it cost to use Allplan Campus?
The use of the Service portal is free of charge for all users.

The Allplan Campus Newsletter is published 2-4 times a year.
We recommend to subscribe to it. This ensures that you are always up-to-date concerning Allplan Campus.

The newsletter includes topics such as:

  • Information about the latest Allplan Student version and your license.
  • Tips and tricks about how to use our products
  • Recommended events
  • Job opportunities
  • And much more

We are pleased to receive your ideas and tips for improvements in order to make the newsletter even more interesting and valuable for you.
You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time in your profile.


To get access to all Allplan Campus solutions, you need to complete your information.

Your Proof of Student Status must be an official document containing the following information:
First and last name, name of educational institution, course name or vocational training, valid date.
Examples: Proof of enrollment, student ID card(with calendar year), training contract, letter of confirmation or acceptance

File format: PDF, jpg or png
File Size: 2 MB max.

Friendly reminder: We do not request any kind of picture of yourself or your projects.

After you've uploaded your proof of student status, we will review your documents and will inform you by e-mail when they are approved. 
Please be patient, due to the high demand there may sometimes be longer waiting times to process your request. For example in the Fall.

Once the proof of student status is approved, you will receive an e-mail. This includes a Product Key. This information is also displayed on the home page on campus.allplan.com (for this you need to be logged in).In addition you niw have access to Allplan bimplus and all other options 

As a member of the Allplan community, you can benefit from the experience of Allplan users around the world. To join the dsicussion you have to be logged in.

After opening a contribution with all the answers, you will see a number of different functions at the top right, which are explained in a Tool Tip when you run the mouse over the particular ICON:

Bookmark a contribution/Favorite

Assessment

If no-one has expressed an opinion (voted) yet, the stars will be white. When voting yourself (running the mouse over it) your OWN current assessment will be shown by the green coloring (5 stars is the best result). The average assessment by all participants is represented in gold/yellow. As well as this, by running the mouse over it you can see the number of votes cast up to now.

You can also change your opinion afterwards, but for security reasons a waiting time of 5 minutes has been built in.

Note: This applies, incidentally, to all assessments in Allplan Campus.

This means that you can assess REQUESTS just as easily as helpful replies. During the search, by using the assessment filter you can also restrict the result to contributions with a minimum number of stars.

Other Icons

hot  As soon as a contribution has more than 10 responses, it is classified as HOT, and flagged up by way of this icon.

hot  The pin marks up contributions which an administrator has “pinned up”. In other words, these contributions will always be shown first in a forum category, regardless of when a reply was last made to it.

The person formulating the question and the Forum moderator can enter these ticks if the question from the Forum contribution has been resolve.

The green arrow indicates a contribution which has been forwarded to Technical Support.



Above the text input box, by way of the ICON strip, you can insert what are known as BB Codes for the formatting of the text.

Emphasize headings, for example by B (=BOLD)
To do this, mark the heading you want and click on the B.
This will cause a [ b ] to appear in front of the text, and [ /b ] after it ...

Adopt the same procedure for colors, such as red, underlining, and italics.
Colors which are hard to see (light colors) on a white background should be avoided.

Establish Link
To establish a link to another contribution or an FAQ, click on the 5th ICON (chain symbol) and type in the URL. The best way to do this is to copy the URL by CONTROL+C into the temporary memory and enter it here with CONTROL+V.

This allows for a piece of Code  to be entered into the text. The word suggested, "Linktext", can be changed at random, such as in the example above: How to use: Helpful information about the Connect Forum

Enter a picture
A picture can be uploaded as an attachment via the 3 possible data fields, or a link can be established to an external picture:


The 4th ICON interrogates the PICTURE URL, e.g. that of the Serviceplus ICONs www.allplan-connect.com/fileadmin/templates_connect/img/icon_serviceplus.png

This is then automatically entered as a picture:

 

Note: As far as possible, avoid linking to EXTERNAL pictures, because an embedded image on a NON HTTPS protected page can lead to an error message for other users. (A message such as: “The Web page also contains unsafe elements. Should the unsafe elements be displayed?"). For some other users, such elements may even be suppressed without warning. 

Quoting other contributions
Mark the text and use the command Quote (third from last icon). This will cause the insertion of the code [quote]the text.... [/quote].

CODE
in order to prevent the source text from being taken into account and not displayed (which is helpful, for example, with Allplan formulas for variable text images), mark the formula concerned as CODE:

Other Icons
There is also the Lists ICON, for producing listings.
As well as this, you can set the letter size to LARGE (upper case).
The last icon takes all the effort out of formatting.

Preview

Beneath the text input box is the Preview option. This, however, “forgets” files which have already been selected and attached.
If you want to prepare elaborate formatting, and therefore need the Preview function, first press VORSCHAU (preview), and only then attach files.

Note: The preview for your contribution will be displayed beneath the text input box. 

When preparing a contribution (not a response!) you can select the option on the right:
Add questionnaire.

2 response options are obligatory (e.g. “I’m for” / “I’m against”), but you can add other response options (such as “Not important” or “I’m for it if ...")

As long as no-one has replied to your contribution or voted for it, you can still change the questionnaire, but after that a change can only be made by a Forums Admin.

In order to be able to download CAD objects, you must be registered.

A high proportion of the Content elements are intended only for customers with Serviceplus contracts.

If you, as a customer without a Serviceplus contract, convert your account (by way of your customer number and an Admin Key) into a Customer Account, you will obtain more extensive access rights to Content Elements than those who are simply users.

There are a few downloads which are only suitable for special language versions of Allplan, and that means they are only accessible to customers from the particular country involved.

It’s often possible, once files have been downloaded and unpacked, to drag them directly onto the Allplan drawing surface.

You can get more detailed information about this in the following three ways:

a) Every Zip file contains a readme.txt, which either contains further REFERENCES, or a link to Help.

b) At the end of each download, 1-x PDF document(s) are attached in each case, with instructions about how to import the file(s) contained in the Zip.

c) Under Content -> MyDownloads next to each download is a Help link. There is a link to the PDF-document(s) there too.

As a general principle it is a good idea to SAVE the download and not open it immediately, if the browser offers this option. Bookmark the place where you have chosen to save the file.

What happens if the download is several MB in size, and doesn’t start even after some minutes have passed?

So as to exclude the possibility of a slow Internet connection, start the download of another big file chosen at random, for example from the Training sector, or watch a video in Allplan Connect. One possible solution may be to delete your browser cache (if necessary, link to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cache)

What does it cost to use Allplan Campus?
The use of the Service portal is free of charge for all users.

This means you can logon to Allplan Campus as a normal user. You can post job applications in the forum. We need you to confirm being a student by receiving your student ID. Please send a copy via email, fax or mail.
