[Question] Incorrect bar shape in section (Reinforcement views)

Hello everyone,

The attached image shows a detail of the reinforcement of a precast concrete beam.
Unfortunately the inclined bar is not properly represented in the section. The section was created with the "Reinforcement views" function.
As you can see the inclined bar is out of the beam in the section.

Is there any solution to represent the bar properly?

Hi,

We have seen this issue sometimes coming in some direction which are not perpendicular to the bars or when there is different angle other than 90°.

We find some trick. For example if your design again the bars with the correct dimension, the bars in the left view will be correct at first.
If you do any change like stretch a segment, than the issue will appears. (so try to do it right first -) ).

A second possible is to redo the bars just by using the tool "convert and match a bars", than you click on your wrong bars to bring the geometry and the new will be corrected.
