Hello everyone,
I've made a script for column footing. The problem I have is that it always places the element on the top edge of the column. I want it to automatically insert it to the bottom edge. Is it possible to set it somewhere? I only thought to select the column via select geometry and move the base by the height of the column, but I don't know if it would work. Any ideas?

I'm not sure, if I understand your questions. But if you are able to snap to the point on the bottom side of the column, you should be able to place your VS-PythonPart object there.

Maybe it will be clearer from the video. When I create a PP, it snaps to the top of the element. I'm wondering if there is a way for the PP to snap to the bottom automatically since it is a column footing.
